FRIENDS of Canadian Broadcasting is where Canadians come to learn about and share their support for Canadian journalism and storytelling. We have over 300,000 supporters across Canada and are completely independent of any broadcaster, corporation or political party.
Our Current Priorities
- Conducting leading-edge public policy and public research
- Defending the trustworthy Canadian journalism that secures our democracy
- Ensuring that the Broadcasting Act and other laws are enforced equally for Silicon Valley tech giants operating in Canada, especially Google, Facebook, Netflix, and Amazon
- Demonstrating public support for CBC as a major cultural and civic force

Organizer
FRIENDS is looking for an organizer to help us as we move towards a likely 2021 election campaign. The organizer will support national campaigning activities by helping mobilize our base of supporters and recruit new supporters across the country, and especially in several key ridings.
